Pen Peptide manufacturer protocol (20mg pen = 200 clicks × 100 mcg):

Standard course: 10–20 clicks (1–2 mg) × once daily subcutaneous or intramuscular × 10 days.

• Start: 10 clicks (1 mg) first 3 days to assess tolerance.

• Standard: 15–20 clicks (1.5–2 mg) per day.

• Timing: evening, before bed (synergy with nocturnal melatonin increase).

Thymalin is a peptide bioregulator extracted from calf thymus (thymus gland), developed by Vladimir Khavinson's school at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology in the 1970s-80s. One of the first industrial immunomodulators in the USSR/Russia — used in clinical practice for decades for post-infectious recovery, chronic recurrent inflammations, and autoimmune skin diseases.

Unlike synthetic Thymosin Alpha-1 or Thymopentin, Thymalin is a natural peptide complex containing several short thymic peptides (including Thymulin/Zn-FTS). This makes it more "physiological" for the body — replicating the multi-component pattern of natural thymic factors that mature T-lymphocytes in the thymus.

Mechanism: normalizes T-cell ratio (CD4+/CD8+), stimulates IL-2 production, activates macrophage phagocytosis, increases serum immunoglobulins. Unlike anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs, corticosteroids) — does NOT suppress immunity but normalizes it. Especially effective in "exhaustion immunodeficiency": frequent URTIs (≥4 episodes/year), chronic fatigue, slow wound healing.
